It’s soldes season once again and it will be starting tomorrow, Wednesday until February 10 in the entire France. Everybody’s excited about it because discounts are up to 50% off and even more for the first day and some of the stores even started offering discounts when the week started. Am I ready for it? Absolutely yes! In fact, I made a list already of the items I wanted to buy but I don’t know if I’ll really be able to follow this list. I’m pretty sure there’ll be thousands of affordable items that are very cute, nice and trendy. What’s on my number 1 list? Louis Vuitton something either a bag or a wallet to compliment my bag. That will be the very first store I’ll be dropping by tomorrow. I have to work till 8:15 tomorrow morning but I’ll just stay at the café and have a drink there till the stores are open. I’m too small and my sizes (both for shoes and dresses) are sold easily. I wanna make sure that I’ll get the things that I want before the people rush in at the boutiques when afternoon arrives.
Hubby loves watches very much and he prefers to have a watch as a gift when celebrating something. Yeah! That’s the only jewelry he has and he finds it very precious. I’d like to spoil him as much as he spoils me with luxurious things but I can’t do it all the time because my salary is lesser than him. If only I can afford, I’ll surely be giving him 2 Victorinox Swiss Army watches, a rolex or a cartier watch maybe. One day peut-être if I’ll win a lotto ^-^. For the mean time, these will remain a dream and an imagination for me
This will be my very first post for the year 2009 and wishfully, this will serve as my lucky charm in the world of blogging ^-^.
New Year’s eve was celebrated here at home with 4 other friends, my pinay friend married to a french guy and their 2 other friends who happen to be our friends as well. Our ref was really full because of so many things and I was so tired because I had 2 jobs in the morning, I did my last minute shopping right after my work, cleaned the entire house and changed the linges and cooked the other menu. It has been 6 months since the last time we saw these people and hubby and I were really happy to see them once again. Though they were sick (coz of winter) but the night went really well. They loved my table especially our entrée. Our New Year party ended at 5 in the morning and hubby and I slept at 6 in the morning. Till now, hubby is still in bedroom sleeping ^-^
Forgot so many things though even taking more pix coz I was so busy taking good care of everything just to make sure that everybody had everything, were comfortable and were enjoying.
Preparing our table and making it beautiful is my newest hobby now
Hours from now, 2008 will be over and year 2009 will finally start. 2008 has been a productive year for me, though many things happened but all of it will be considered as my blessings. I’m pretty sure that this year has been a challenging one for everyone too but hopefully 2009 will be the start of a new hope after crisis comes in. Friends, I wish you all a prosperious and peaceful 2009. Happy New Year everyone!!
Family’s safety is very important to me and is always on my top list. I don’t want us to experience those bad things we encountered years ago when thieves easily got inside the house and stole our stuffs. That’s why, installing a home security tool will be a very good idea and is something that I’m always thinking. Family’s safety matters the most and it’s something that’s more valuable to me before anything else in this world. The kind of home security I wanna have or install is the one I saw at ADT. They have ADT Safepass Touchpad and I find it very cool because it’s easy to arm and disarm the security system by using this simple wave of tag infront of the Safepass Touchpad. Perfect for my parents who hate manuals and complicated things ^-^

Your search then will be fast and easy for you to decide which plan will be right for your budget. Try them!
All of you must be very busy preparing their noche buenas at home. Yummy and tasty for sure! It’s good to be with our families once again and to exchange gifts with one another. We’ll be in Troyes starting tomorrow to be with my inlaws so hubby and I wish you all an Advance Merry Christmas and may love and prospertiy will always be in our hearts.
Last night was our Christmas party. It was a very simple party and girls brought in some foods and share it with the others. Our little party was fun and everybody were mingling eachother and were getting to know eachother since all the students were present. That was the only chance for us to really talk and discover one another since our scheds are different plus classes start directly right after each class once finished. Since we feel like we’re very feminine, mostly of the foods were sweets like cakes, tartes, pastries together with champagne. Alcohols were forbidden though.
One of my wishes when giving birth one day is that hoping that my children will be in good health and will be normal. I guess parents out there know what I’m trying to refer here. I wanna have healthy kids with 2 eyes, 2 arms, well-formed face and an angel that will be sleeping in my arms silently and will be yawning while his/her small hands will be touching me. What a dream! For some parents out there who have kids suffering from cerebral palsy, it must be hard for them seeing their kids suffering this kind of disability. A mother’s heart is very soft all the time so no matter how hard it will be for them, they’ll continue to sacrifice in order to see their kids well. Cerebral palsy can be avoided so ladies, know the causes of cerebral palsy.
What a heartbreaking offer for our good friend Marky Cielo! Couldn’t help myself but cry like a big baby and tears kept on falling down even if I tried not to do it. I am not a big fan of Marky but this guy made me proud of who he is especially when he told that he has an igorot blood. Others may not be proud of being an igorot but because of this guy, he served as an inspiration to others that they shouldn’t be ashame of it and should be proud of who they are instead of the contrary. This simple guy has touched many lives and will always be loved by many people aside from his friends and family. May you’ll continue your journey in heaven Marky and may you’ll rest in peace *cry*
A friend told me that she was very angry with her husband 2 days ago because he always eats chips, junkfoods and burgers when she’s having her class. She told me that this guy now has a very big tummy and is planning of enrolling himself at the fitness gym nearby. She even told him to buy diet pills for him to loose several pounds. I wonder how her husband reacted to that ^-^. Honestly, the last time I saw him was around 4 months ago and I don’t find him big at all. Many things happened within 4 months so I don’t have any single idea how this guy looks like now. The only thing I know is that he always drinks beer and beers are not really good for tummy. No idea if it’s true ha but mom always tells me that beer makes the tummy bigger. Maybe, he should lessen his beer intake non and drink more water right?
We were on a food brainstorming these last days. Since we won’t be coming à Paris for New Year, we’ve decided that we’ll just make our celebration here at home and invite our friends to come over. Everytime we invite somebody here at home, menu is our problem. Why? Because I wanna prepare filipino foods and wanna serve it and wanna have that filipino atmosphere here at home (you know what I mean don’t you? Serving everything at the table like buffet style and visitors serve themselves) while hubby prefers something that’s tasty and that all the utensils are all set on the table. French nga sya ^-^. For New Year, I wanna avoid poulty meats and prefer to have seafoods like crabs or lobsters and then oysters or maybe just have a fondue to make the preparation simplier. Last weekend we tried crabs, it was for us to have an idea if it’ll be great to serve it or not. When the food was served, I was enjoying my big crab and ate in with my hands while hubby on the other hand said that he wasn’t enjoying it because his hands were dirty and messy hahahahha but he loved how I cooked it. In fairness, that was the very first time we had crabs in our grocery list because it’s too expensive. Believe it or not but half size cost 17 euros. Ang mahal!!!

Do you guys hear what Phentermine is? It’s a diet pill and it’s considered as an appetite surpressant drug that helps obese people in this world to suppress their hunger and lose weight easily. Being obese isn’t easy at all that’s why this suppressant will be very helpful for them in some ways. Just a note, any medics or pills will be considered harmful if you’ll use it in an incorrect way. So be responsible and act as a mature person when using any kind of pills. Any diet pills won’t function if you’re not going to help yourself as well by exercising and diet. If you have heart or blood vessel disease, better not to take Phentermine as a safety precaution.

Who says that cold season means staying at home only? That is a big No-No and I completely disagree on that impression. FYI, people love to travel quand même even if it’s cold. Travelling is not only for summer you know and in fact, ski hotels are always fully booked months before winter comes. Other do skiing while other people prefer to travel outside the country like America for shopping and for personal reasons. Vegas vacations are always present too knowing the fact that this lively city has many things to offer. Friends, there’s a 3 days/2 nights deal I found that’s very affordable. Click that link I have.
Sundays are always our cinema time. We started doing it 3 months ago and we’re loving it especially when the temperature is humid and wet. I’m loving it because I am a big movie addict. I watch 2 or 3 movies in a week when I was still in PI and now, I get to have the chance to watch my favorite movies in french. I’m learning their accents and vocabularies so it’s fun for me and never boring. We’ve tried their different cinemas here and one thing that I noticed is that their cinemas are really simple compared to the cinemas in PI. There are exit signs of course but their security isn’t that strict when you enter and the people are very respectful that they automatically turn off their cellphones once inside. My favorite cinema? It’s in Megarama.
Hubby is in the good mood these last days of throwing those unwanted things we have especially kitchen utensils and several living room accessories. After several serious conversations and show-ups, I convinced him finally! He understands that I prefer to have simple things on the top of everything because it’s neat to look at and easy to clean and he agrees. So yes, for 2 weeks, we’ve been updating mostly of our things and shopped for new items. I’m smiling of course (I love shopping) because my porcelain collections are finally complete and our living room is more lively. Now, hubby’s thinking of changing our sofa as well as it’s ugly ^-^. How I wish he’ll buy the one I like. I like to have a bigger sofa that can accommodate more than 2 people. That picture of the discount furniture above is the one I’m dying to have.
Cancer is a very serious subject. When I think about this subject, it honestly scares me and makes me wish that nobody in my family will be experiencing it. It must be hard for the family members once they’ll know that one of their family is having it. The treatments are very expensive as there are many processes to undergo, many tests to try plus the medication costs too are unbelievable. I seriously don’t have any idea why cancer just existed like that in one’s body but hoping that one day, there’ll be a very accurate and precise treatment for it. In that case, a patient won’t be powerless and won’t be losing his/her hope in life. It may sound easy but it’s not at all. Friends, I am encouraging all of you to make a research about cancer and also mesothelioma cancer. I do believe that with proper knowledge, we can all fight it.
It’s “Cyber Monday” today, the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season in the United States. Do you do much online shopping, holiday or otherwise?
- I’ll surely do online shopping and window shopping. The question is, I don’t have enough time to go out ifever and it’s cold outside. Coldness makes me lazy
Are you a Mac or a PC user? Why?
- PC user. I haven’t tried Mac
What website do you spend more time on than you care to admit?
- it all depends on my mood. Mostly of the time it’s more on the fashion websites if I’m not really doing anything. But when there are things that I really need to purchase like work holding, or either a trench or etc, I canvass the different online shops I know first then compare which store has an interesting deals.
